Tannen:

recommend 5 - 6 paragraphs:  very short intro and very short concluding paragraphs and 1-2 middle paragraphs as follows:
A  Tannen's overall message, summarized by you (context)
B  One particular part that meant something to you - and your examples and thoughts about it
C  Action:  what am I going to do about it?  change my behavior, change my interpretation of other's behavior or try to get someone else to change?

Chapter Paper:
